Identifying geometrical objects in Sumur Gumuling Tamansari: An ethnomathematics analysis

摘要: This research was conducted to find mathematical elements (ethnomathematics) in the Sumur Gumuling Tamansari building. The method used this study is a qualitative with an ethnographic approach. data are obtained from observations, documentation, and interviews. Observation documentation identify ethnomathematics While interviews triangulation out more deeply cultural values that exist results of there building, namely concept rectangle, pentagon, rhombus, triangle, circle, combined rectangular flat structure half-circle. In case, it can be said mathematics enters ll aspects life including buildings.
