摘要: Two methods for bacterial membrane transport, filtration and flow dialysis, were used to study cellular association of Pseudomonas putida with naphthalene. It is not technically possible determine the exact or vesicular location naphthalene, because it hydrophobic, could be at membrane(s) rather than inside cells. As an index naphthalene having crossed inner we intracellular formation its first catabolite. An energized ATP was essential movement into cell. Evidence a nonspecific cells by simple diffusion are lack saturation association, absence inhibition protein inhibitors structural analogs, passage through cell membranes in presence iodoacetamide. Specific metabolism gene expression required association.
