摘要: Abstract High resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) has been used to locate a negative ion resonance at about 2.1 eV beam in benzene chemisorbed on Pt(111). We determine the predominant excitation mechanisms for several vibrational modes of adsorbate. A group theoretical analysis resonantly excited is deduce symmetry adsorbate complex. Emphasis laid influence vibronic coupling neighbouring resonances. come conclusion that complex should be either C3v(σv) or Cs(σv).
