摘要: The development and initial evaluation of a new, comprehensive multicomponent behavioral treatment (Trauma Management Therapy, or TMT) for chronic combat-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is described. program utilizes elements intensive exposure therapy, programmed practice, structured social emotional skills training to target the multiple aspects PTSD. was found be effective in alleviating broad spectrum difficulties combat veterans with PTSD, most whom had co-occuring Axis I and/or II disorders. results are discussed respect implementation new general need approach treating Implications potential cost-effectiveness also discussed.
