摘要: The incidence of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in Scandinavia is increasing and spreading geographically. Following two clinical cases TBE hospitalised after tick bites northern Zealand, Denmark, specific IgM IgG antibodies against virus (TBEV) were demonstrated acute serum samples these patients. TBEV was identified by RT-PCR ticks collected from the same location. This first report Ixodes ricinus leading to Denmark outside Bornholm island.
