摘要: Coherent WDM communication systems have a great potential to be applied local broadband access networks due their high sensitivity and densely spaced multichannel characteristics. Unfortunately, compared with high-bit-rate direct detection system the installation cost of such is relatively high. Although hybrid coherent can reach almost shot noise limited sensitivity, higher prevent it from gaining ground in long run. In this work, we report integrated receiver very simple device structure. The fabrication process so that involves virtually no more than making distributed-Bragg-reflector (DBR) laser. structure its possible application as terminal both receiving transmitting functions are shown. composed tunable DBR laser an detector. incoming ASK or FSK signals mixed oscillator (LO) cavity.
