Colchicine prophylaxis in pseudogout.

摘要: Ten patients with recurrent attacks of pseudogout were followed for 1 year before and after receiving oral colchicine 0.6 mg BID. Thirty-two episodes acute arthritis recorded in the (3.2/patient/year) start drug only 10 while taking (1/patient/year) (p less than 0.001). Ninety percent benefitted from drug. Our study supports effectiveness as a prophylactic agent recurring pseudogout.
