摘要: Calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystal deposition disease (CPPD) is an inflammatory arthritis produced by the of calcium (CPP) crystals in synovium and periarticular soft tissues. The reference standard for diagnosis CPPD based identification CPP synovial fluid light microscopy, compensated polarized or phase contrast microscopy. Most treatment approaches are upon experience not controlled trials. They range - depending subtype characteristics symptoms from no to interleukin-1 blockade antibodies specific therapy underlying disease. This review summarizes all we know so far about management CPPD.
