摘要: Abstract: The Pasoh forest reserve (Pasoh FR), albeit in an atypically dry region of Peninsular Malaysia, is now one the most extensive remaining examples mixed dipterocarp forests which once covered lowlands west main range. Its gentle topography provides relatively homogeneous terrain, and thereby opportunity to examine large scale community patterns. FR has become paradigm for lowland through publications emanating from a succession independent research projects there, leading center international field Asian tropical forest. We here describe history this work its present status.
