摘要: This study was conducted to assess the spatial distribution of beetles in mountain ecosystems and their elevational diversity. Malaise, pitfall light traps were used collect from nine different mountains Malaysia September 2014 2016, where Gunung Angsi, Belumut, Basor Tebu samples collected at 500 m 1000 m (above sea level) elevations, while sampled 500 m, 1500 masl Benom, Inas, Cameron Highland, Besar Hantu Basor. In this study, 9628 belonging 879 species with highest representation family Staphylinidae Carabidae. Chamah Highland had beetle diversity followed by all on abundance richness. The richness observed 1000 m, 1500 m. We identified characteristic associated habitat conditions Benoum Inas mountains, according INDVAL values. showed multiple alpha beta patterns type ecosystem elevation, providing guidelines for scientific community underpin conservation efforts Malaysia.
