摘要: Thyrotropin (TSH)-secreting pituitary adenomas are rare tumors that cause central hyperthyroidism by the release of TSH refractory to negative feedback regulation thyroid hormones. The frequency this diagnosis has increased because widespread availability ultrasensitive immunometric assays for and growing awareness clinicians states inappropriate secretion. clinical presentation is varied been confused with more common causes thyrotoxicosis or syndrome resistance hormone. Some patients, especially those previously misdiagnosed treated ablation, present signs symptoms resulting from compression surrounding nervous structures tumor.
