摘要: The efficiency of the synthesized zeolite NaY from rice husk ash (RHA) in removal Cr(III) aqueous solution was studied. Zeolite RHA via seeding technique and identification its structure done by X -ray diffraction (XRD) elemental analysis carried out fluorescence (XRF). physicochemical properties which were related to use as a sorbent also investigated. has higher cation exchange capacity (CEC) than commercial due amount sodium content well lower ratio silica alumina. together with one comparison used sorption batch experiments. kinetic study showed that uptake both zeolites based on pseudo second order model. Synthesized exhibited greater capacities since former surface area alumina have tendency provide more sites. Abstrak Keberkesanan zeolit yang disintesis daripada abu sekam padi untuk menyingkirkan kromium(III) dalam larutan akueus telah dikaji. Zeolit melalui kaedah pembenihan dan strukturnya dianalisis teknik pembelauan sinar-X analisis unsur dijalankan berpendarflour Sifat-sifat fisiko-kimia berkaitan dengan penggunaan sebagai penjerap juga mempunyai kapasiti penukaran kation lebih tinggi komersil disebabkan oleh kandungan natrium kuantitinya nisbah silika terhadap rendah. dijadikan perbandingan digunakan menjerap eksperimen secara berkelompok. Kajian kinetik pengambilan kedua-dua adalah berdasarkan kepada model pseudo-tertib kedua. menunjukkan penjerapan berbanding kerana luas permukaan rendah menyebabkan ia berkecenderungan banyak tapak penukaran.
