摘要: Two cell lines, derived from human T-cell acute leukemia, one glucocorticoid sensitive (CEM-C7) and the other resistant (CEM-C1) were grown in presence of 1 × 10 −7 M dexamethasone analyzed for their dolichol content. After 24 hrs incubation, dolichols became significantly elevated but not line. Lovastatin, specific inhibitor cholesterol synthesis did affect levels either two lines. The results raise possibility that accumulation might be involved early stages glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis (directed killing).
