摘要: This essay is based on the assumption that a long-neglected topic of socialization, determinants individual differences in parental functioning, illuminated by research etiology child maltreatment. Three domains are identified (personal psychological resources parents, characteristics child, and contextual sources stress support), process model competent functioning offered basis analysis. The presumes multiply determined, support can directly affect parenting or indirectly first influencing well-being, personality influences support/stress, which feeds back to shape parenting, that, order importance, personal parent more effective buffering parent-child relation from than support, themselves child.
