摘要: This work proposes a multiple stereo cameras setup as sensing device for real time photorealistic 3D map building task. Applications include capturing of historic sites, remote exploration and navigation autonomous robots, 3DTV, entertainment industry much more. Particular emphasis is placed on the novel arrangement that minimizes weak points found single camera system gives advantages toward applications require high accuracy spatial geometry information, e.g. mapping, positioning trajectory estimation. A hardware prototype was constructed it shows promising performance
