摘要: A molecular memory system that includes a protective layer is disposed over recording described. The enables scanning probe to write information and read from element by direct electrical contact without substantual risk of damage either the or medium. In this way, invention avoids high emission currents, which may probeelectrode media, both, other difficulties often associated systems with noncontanting electrodes.
