摘要: RIM4 was previously found to be required for both the IME1- and IME2-dependent pathways of meiotic gene expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. We now demonstrate that is also division recombination. Furthermore, rim4 Δ mutants show defects premeiotic DNA synthesis, which can suppressed by deletion SIC1 gene, encodes a Cdk inhibitor. Expression induced early meiosis, dependent on IME1 but not IME2. Indeed, itself essential These results suggest epistatic IME2, multiple steps during sporulation. In agreement with this interpretation, overexpression induces low levels sporulation rich medium.
