摘要: Stem cells have attracted many scientists because of their unique properties and therapeutic applications. However, very little is known on the environmental toxins that could affect biological features. This study focuses consequences exposure a cell line representative mouse gastric stem/progenitor (mGS) to diesel exhaust particles (DEPs). These immortal were cultured using routine protocols. The DEPs added culture media at 1, 10, 100 µg/mL for 1 72 h. assayed viability, migration, oxidative stress, expression genes specific proliferation, pluripotency, death. induced reduction in metabolic activity mGS cells, only high concentration µg/mL. no significant effects detected stress markers (glutathione thiobarbituric acid reactive substances), death related proteins/genes. Interestingly, these findings associated with down-regulation Notch 2 3 Bmi-1 proteins activation STAT3 involved regulation fate stem cells. In conclusion, this demonstrates some resistance apoptosis when exposed expense stemness.
