摘要: 1. When ovotransferrin is partially saturated with iron, endotherms for apo-ovotransferrin, two monoferric ovotransferrins and Fe2-ovotransferrin are observed by differential scanning calorimetry. The relative sizes of the changed in presence iron-chelating agents nitrilotriacetic acid ATP. 2. iron added as Fe(III)-nitrilotriacetate, at Fe-nitrilotriacetate: ratios less than unity, endotherm essentially absent. At unity only species present solution appreciable concentration evidenced their differential-scanning-calorimetry endotherms, approximately equal amounts. greater apo-ovotransferrin absent, decrease size increases. 3. In nitrilotriacetate, binding to sites highly anti-co-operative, but indiscriminate. formed from one site slightly favoured compared other site, once has been bound either affinity unoccupied much decreased.
