摘要: In Chile, all necrotic arachnidism is attributed to the Chilean recluse spider, Loxosceles laeta Nicolet, a species that shares microenvironmental habitats with spitting spider Scytodes globula Nicolet. The latter has been proposed as potential predator of L. laeta. For this research, we studied interaction between both during individual encounters assess possibility population regulation cohorts exposed predator. We found in most S. prevailed. Also, preys on spiderlings laeta, effect species. These findings suggest may be influencing populations central Chile. by predation would important because species, absence predators, high reproductive rate, and it can maintain large size. However according our results, although aid reduction spiderling adult populations, perhaps other insufficient for biological control Its presence together measures such hygiene rooms help decrease loxoscelism incidence.
