摘要: Background: Despite the abundant eco-epidemiological knowledge of Chilean reclusive spider, Loxosceles laeta, which causes all forms loxoscelism in Chile, main characteristics this species its stages development remains poorly known especially medical area. Objective: In study we address these issues with goal providing clear images and for first time on population projec tions as well relationship between mature immature instars, useful data control prevention accidental bites. Results: We found that L. laeta is an r-selected species, R 0 = 2.1, a generation G 2.1 years, concentration reproductive value females second year life. determined average sizes times instars. The vary 2.3 mm at birth about 13 adulthood. total was 1 year. Discussion: projection by Leslie matrix suggested great capacity growth dispersal seasonal fluctuations associated reproduction. It also showed proportion varied seasonally 80 90 %, means house three or four visible adult spiders actually has 20 40 total.
