摘要: Medullary neurons synthesizing serotonin (5-HT) encompass several groups projecting to the spinal cord and brainstem. The medullary serotonergic include nucleus raphe magnus (RMg), which projects primarily trigeminal dorsal horn, obscurus (ROb) pallidus (RPa), project motor autonomic nuclei of medulla. Other in ventrolateral reticular formation contribute bulbospinal propriospinal projections Serotonin exerts complex effects on its targets via subtypes 5-HT receptors. exert a major modulatory influence nociceptive processing, motoneuron excitability, respiratory control, function, particularly thermoregulatory sympathetic responses cold. Not surprisingly, these have been implicated pathophysiology pain, spasticity, failure potentially related sudden death.
