摘要: Aircraft measurements of turbulent fluxes ofscalars collected during the BEMA campaignat Mediterranean Spanish coast havebeen analysed using wavelet techniques. The analysis aimsat characterising boundary-layerstructure present a period ofthe campaign with particular attention to therole Thermal Internal Boundary Layer (TIBL) in regulatingthe exchange processes overlyingfree atmosphere. dataobtained by flying through turbulentlayer reveals presence characteristicstructures as aircraft crossesthe TIBL top. These occur specific space and scale range. Comparisons result analysisobtained for different types scalarsgive evidence that region correspondingto detected scales can be identifiedwith entrainment zone TIBL.
