摘要: Abstract This paper describes how to measure turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) order address certain problems modern physics. These mainly relate Earth's energy budget (including hydrological cycle) and biogeochemical cycles. Starting from main characteristic numbers basic equations of turbulent flow, we show what parameters are important measure. Special attention is given various methods used compute fluxes. We analyse range scales which has be measured properly capture eddies contributing transfers. determines sensors can surface ABL. describe most widely instruments their performances. The principal platforms deploy these examined. Aircraft described more details, because they allow a thorough exploration In last section, some examples ABL signals conditions presented. illustrate horizontally homogeneous as well inhomogeneous for standard analysis techniques cannot used. recent techniques, like wavelet transforms, help investigate this kind signal. At end, present would interesting do near future study turbulence.
