摘要: We have characterized Hox 1.3 (previously described as m2), a murine homeobox-containing gene, which is member of the 1 cluster located on chromosome 6. A cloned cDNA was isolated from an Okayama-Berg library generated chemically transformed cell line MB66 MCA ACL6. The protein sequence 270 amino acids deduced nucleotide open reading frame containing homeobox. interrupted at genomic level by 960 bp intron and organized in two exons. found to contain extensive homology with homeodomain 2.1, encoded 11. There are regions first exon, i.e. hexapeptide conserved many genes N-terminal domain, be homologous only 2.1. Furthermore, exon 2 homologies extended up carboxy terminus During prenatal development, maximal expression observed 12-day embryonic tissue. transcripts carrying homeobox 1.9 kb about 4 length. An abundant 1.3-specific RNA also F9 cells were induced for parietal endoderm differentiation, whereas teratocarcinoma stem do not stably express this specific RNA. Induction transcript occurs immediately after retinoic acid/cAMP treatment remains high 5 days. Thus, kinetics different previously 1.1 3.1. Interestingly, analogy system negative correlation between transformation 3T3 fibroblasts also. Untransformed carry RNA, methylcholanthrene-transformed LTK- or oncogenes src, fos SV40 T antigen low levels.
