摘要: Planned crosses were designed to produce an F2 and 2 backcross populations from lines of White Leghorn chickens previously selected over 10 generations for different in vivo immune responses. The selection criteria applied on the grandparental as follows: high antibody response Newcastle disease virus vaccine 3 wk after vaccination (ND3) cell-mediated [response phytohemagglutinin]. Furthermore a control line was kept by random breeding. objective study estimate if pure had changed level type (humoral) new antigen, keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), various second-generation progeny groups. In addition, correlations between parameters acquired innate immunity tested. Primary total (IgT) isotype-specific (IgG IgM) KLH 1 immunization levels natural antibodies (NAB) binding Salmonella enteriditis-derived lipopolysaccharide (LPS) measured. Although no differences present IgM IgG phytohemagglutinin skin-swelling response, significant all groups IgT ND3 NAB LPS. mean values significantly using compared with line, indicating contribution previous selection. sex effect found LPS, which females higher than males both cases. No interaction found. Furthermore, positive LPS specific titers KLH. Finally, results demonstrated under this strategy crossbreeding confirmed general antigen crosses.
