摘要: Modulation of the function excretory organs by purine receptors is an ancient regulatory strategy adopted early in course vertebrate evolution. For instance, shark rectal gland, organ that evolved more than 400 million years ago, primordial adenosine strongly influence rate sodium chloride transport and elimination (Forrest 1996). It not surprising therefore P1 P2 are important regulators renal mammals. The purpose this chapter to summarize available information regarding physiology pharmacology discuss where field will likely yield advances pharmacotherapeutics.
