摘要: OBJECTIVE To evaluate the microleakage and bond strengths (microTBS) of silorane-based (SBC) dimethacrylate-based (DBC) restorative systems. The null hypotheses are: 1) there is no difference in between resin composites adhesive systems tested at enamel dentin margins; 2) significant microTBS composite using self-etch etch-and-rinse versions. METHODS AND MATERIALS Microleakage: Class V cavity preparations with cervical margin were performed on pristine extracted human molars randomly distributed among following three groups: Group 1-DBC/etch-and-rinse system (Filtek™ Supreme Ultra/Adper™ Single Bond Plus, 3M ESPE, www.3MESPE.com); 2-SBC/self-etch (Filtek LS Low Shrink Posterior Restorative System/LS adhesive, ESPE); 3-DBC/self-etch Ultra/ Adper Easy Self-Etch, ESPE). Restorations thermocycled immersed 0.2 percent methylene blue dye for 24 hours. Samples assessed visually under 10x magnification; microTBS: sticks (0.9 mm2) prepared from each group a universal testing machine. RESULTS Kruskal-Wallis test revealed experimental groups (P=0.191). At margins, silorane/self-etch showed significantly less leakage than dimethacrylate/etch-and-rinse (P=0.008). Tukey's B rank order that presented highest microTBS. CONCLUSIONS SBC/self-etch while DBC/etch-and-rinse higher strength.
