摘要: The immune system is a network of specialized cell types and tissues that communicates via cytokines direct contact, to orchestrate specific defensive responses. Until recently, we could only study responses in piecemeal, highly focused fashion, on major components like antibodies the pathogen. But recent advances technology our understanding many system, innate adaptive, have made possible broader approach, where both multiple responding cells blood are measured. This systems immunology approach vaccine response or an infection gives us more holistic picture different parts mobilized should allow much better pathways mechanisms such responses, as well predict efficacy populations advance studies. Here summarize technologies methods discuss how they can inform about differences between diseases vaccines, greatly accelerate development.
