Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic determination of fenvalerate in emulsifiable concentrate formulation

摘要: Fenvalerate [(RS)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl-(RS)-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methylbutyrate] is extracted from formulation with acetone. The extract subjected to preparative thin-layer chromatography, and the fenvalerate zone scraped developed plate. then eluted adsorbent chloroform determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy measuring carbonyl absorption band at about 1755 cm -1 . Recoveries laboratory-prepared commercial formulations were 93-99%. validity of method was further confirmed comparing results those obtained liquid chromatography.
