摘要: 1. 1. The effect of alpha-methyl-dl-trytophan on tryptophan pyrrolase Musca domestica L. was studied in vitro and vivo. 2. 2. This analogue inhibits by a competitive mechanism. 3. 3. After intrathoracic administration alpha-methyltryptophan dose 0·1 μmole per animal (average 10 m-moles/kg), the activity is inhibited. Greatest inhibition occurs about 18 hr, residual still evident at 56 hr after injection. However, insufficient to affect significantly concentration xanthommatin eyes. 4. 4. Tryptophan whole-body M. has KM 4·6 × 10−3
