摘要: This study explores the effects of month birth (a proxy for early-life environmental influences) on chances survival to age 100. Months 1,574 validated centenarians born in United States 1880–1895 were compared same information obtained centenarians' 10,885 shorter-lived siblings and 1,083 spouses. Comparison was conducted using a within-family analysis by method conditional logistic regression, which allows researchers control unobserved shared childhood or adulthood environment common genetic background. It found that months have significant long-lasting effect 100: September–November higher odds become March. A similar month-of-birth pattern centenarian These results support idea programming human aging longevity.
