摘要: The occurrence of predominant histologic phenotypes in overt colonic carcinomas from two disparate geographical regions were analyzed. A total 424 (223 Swedish and 201 Japanese patients) classified into (i.e. comprising > 50% the tumor). Six found: tubular, serrated-microcystic, villous, fenestrated, signet ring cell undifferentiated. phenotype was present 57.3% (n = 243) tumors (in 55.2% 223 patients 61.7% patients). serrated-microglandular significantly more frequent than patients. Environmental and/or ethnic factors may be possible cause(s) for that difference. frequency regional lymph node tumor spread (Dukes C) lower villous undifferentiated-signet types, despite harbouring either one former among oldest whole series. Serrated-microglandular cancer carry a better prognosis (independently their degree differentiation or age) since they are less prone to metastasize nodes phenotypes.
