Pathological gambling among high school students

摘要: Eight hundred and ninety-two high school students from four New Jersey schools were given a questionnaire concerning their gambling behavior. Ninety-one percent of the had gambled at least once in lifetime, 86% last year 32% week. Using an index which was validated other research (Lesieur, Blume, & Zoppa, 1986) 5.7% showed clear signs pathological gambling. The found to be correlated with sex, parental problems, grade average, extent by student.
