摘要: Tenascin is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein that not present in the normal mature rat mammary gland. The distribution of tenascin was examined by immunohistochemistry tumors from carcinogen-treated and untreated rats, virus-induced mice, a variety gland lesions humans. detectable stroma malignant but benign all species. An inhibition ELISA, testing homogenates tumors, confirmed tumors. Thus, consistently found to be stromal marker for epithelial malignancy It concluded may involved interactions between mesenchyme-derived (stromal) components gland, which are known influence carcinogenesis this organ.
