摘要: Oral sex may be used as a form of harm reduction against HIV transmission. We compared characteristics men who have with (MSM) in Washington, DC having oral versus those anal at last encounter. Data collected through National Behavioral Surveillance 2008 using venue-based sampling were used. Men ≥18 years old disclosing MSM behavior the past year analyzed (n=500); OraQuick and Western Blot confirmation to assess status. Multivariable methods for data analyses by type A total 71.8% had 28.2% reported reporting more likely white, older, insured, HIV-negative, unaware partner's status, main partner, not tested previous year. Significant demographic behavioral differences exist between or sex; further studies should whether is being prevention among MSM.
