摘要: Rationale Self-injurious behaviour is not one of the three core symptoms that define autism. However, children on autism spectrum appear to be particularly vulnerable. Afflicted typically slap their faces, punch or bang heads, and bite pinch themselves. These behaviours can extremely destructive, they interfere with normal social educational activities. neurobiological mechanisms confer vulnerability in have been adequately described.
