摘要: CONCENTRATIONS of certain hormone receptors are known to be reduced during ageing in several animal species1–4. Most relevant work, however, has been limited intracellular such as those for steroids, and less is about changes cell surface receptors, including catecholamines. We have measured the concentration β-adrenergic crude membrane fractions mononuclear cells from human subjects various ages. Receptor affinities (—)3H-dihydroal-prenolol were esentially same all subjects. But a significant decrease receptor was observed older individuals.
