摘要: Many species contain genetic lineages that are phylogenetically intermixed with those of other species. In the Sorex araneus group, previous results based on mtDNA and Y chromosome sequence data showed an incongruent position granarius within this group. study, we explored relationship between S. aiming to resolve particular granarius. context, sequenced a total 2447 base pairs (bp) X-linked nuclear genes from 47 individuals The same taxa were also analyzed Bayesian framework nine autosomal microsatellites. These analyses revealed all markers apart similar patterns, suggesting problematic is best explained by behavior mtDNA. Given their close phylogenetic geographic distribution, most likely explanation for pattern past introgression race Carlit
