摘要: The expression of Cancer/Testis (CT) antigens in some tumors and restricted normal tissue make CT attractive vaccine targets. We evaluated the MAGE-A3, PLAC1, GAGE, CTAG2 a series colorectal cancers (CRC). mRNA was determined via quantitative PCR on paired samples from 82 CRC patients. In addition, plasma antibody titers specific to were ELISA. Tissue MAGE-A3 assessed standard IHC protocol. Student's t-test used for statistical analysis (significance p < 0.05). Tumor CTAG2, GAGE compared levels testis. percentage that had tumor vs. testis ratio above 0.1% was: (28%) (17%) but no presented 0.1%. PLAC1 placenta, 12.8% analyzed, these Sero-reactivity MAGE-A genes noted 2.4% 2.6% patients, respectively. may hold promise as targets CRC. Further study is warranted.
