摘要: Composites and methods associated with the same are provided. The composite structures formed of quantum dots magnetic nanoparticles. may be coated, for example, a non-organic shell such as silica. In some cases, functionalized or derivatized to include compounds, atoms, materials that can alter improve properties water solubility, stability, photo-stability biocompatibility. A reverse microemulsion process used form coated composites. composition other characteristics composites controlled provide desired optical properties. in variety applications including biological labeling, resonance imagine (MRI) drug targeting, amongst others.
