摘要: A non-destructive and non-contact method for measuring stress at the mid-plane of tempered glass plates that uses Bragg scattering from a pair thermal gratings. The gratings are formed by parallel writing beams laser light retroreflected through glass. polarization state delayed beam scatters both these is measured, change in doubly scattered with separation between two correlated to in-plane stress. Systems techniques take measurements control manufacturing process also disclosed.
