摘要: Changes in bladder management for individuals with a spinal cord injury may lead to constipation. A review of the literature shows that current evidence based practice promotes methods protect renal function. Those who have managed long-term using manual compression, or abdominal straining manoeuvres, already upper urinary tract damage and are prone constipation if changing their emptying techniques. Nurses assist those need provide support education aid manage faecal elimination.
