摘要: Interannual variability of summer surface air temperature (SAT) in the central United States (U.S.) is influenced by atmospheric circulation and land feedbacks. Here a method dynamical adjustment used to remove effects on SAT over North America Community Earth System Model Large Ensemble. The residual shown reflect thermodynamic feedbacks associated with conditions. In particular, U.S. “hot spot” land-atmosphere interaction, accounting for more than half total variability. Within spot,” anomalies show higher month-to-month persistence through warm season redder spectrum dynamically induced anomalies. Residual this region also be related preseason soil moisture conditions, flux variability, local pressure
