We propose digital (DNW) in which security cameras individual homes work together monitor the neighborhood. DNW could augment providing evidence crime, increasing visibility activity, automatically sending alerts when events occur. investigate appeal camera data with through semi-structured interviews 11 households. Our participants validated potential neighbors, particularly provide after an incident. But they also had privacy concerns about divulging their cameras' field view giving ongoing access neighbors. For some participants, these can be alleviated enabling processed views that include only fore-ground activity or public property (e.g., sidewalks).
