摘要: The persistent phase of postoperative ileus (POI) is mediated by inflammatory activation the resident myeloid immune cell population in gut wall, likely elicited neurogenic activation. Mast cells are thought to play a critical role this response and involvement mast POI has been investigated described thoroughly experimental studies. Intestinal manipulation (IM) leads degranulation cells, resulting an increase proteases peritoneal fluid tissue. infiltrate formed intestinal wall thereby impairs gastrointestinal motility. In clinical study Berdun et al., experimentally known association between delayed motility shown setting. These findings important open up therapeutic opportunities reduce or prevent POI. mini-review, discussed. Furthermore, update given on potential strategies.
