Role of Langerhans Cells and Other Dendritic Cells in the Pathogenesis of Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 Infection

摘要: Langerhans cells are part of a vast system potent antigen-presenting known under the name dendritic cells. During last decade, much has been learned about cell involvement in immune response to viral diseases. This review briefly summarizes our current understanding role played by and other pathogenesis herpes simplex virus type 1 infection. These findings may foster development innovative approaches diagnosis, prevention, treatment herpetic infections.
