摘要: Multi-component synthetic gas (syngas) mixtures produced from the gasification of coal, low-grade fuel, waste and biomass offers a novel source hydrogen production. Gasification also eliminates much pollutant emissions combustion these fuels. Palladium based membranes present promising method for extracting syngas. Experimental results are presented lab scale experimental facility designed built to examine various types palladium alloy used harvest The membrane examined had 10μm Pd layer supported on porous stainless–steel. This study mixture pure gasses including hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide simulate syngas different compositions. focus aimed determine whether composition affected separation performance under operating conditions. It was concluded that in addition partial pressure, pressure other species were major controllers performance.
