摘要: Abstract Polystyrene (PS) pyrolysis and gasification have been examined in a semi-batch reactor at temperatures of 700, 800 900 °C. Characteristic differences between polystyrene evaluated with specific performance focus on the evolution syngas flow rate, hydrogen output power, yield, energy apparent thermal efficiency quality. Behavior PS under either or processes is compared to that char based sample, such as paper cardboard. In contrast materials, yielded less syngas, than 700 °C. However, more 900 °C temperature. Gasification affected by temperature pyrolysis. Syngas, yield increased exponentially case gasification. linearly having rather mild slope Pyrolysis resulted higher quality all temperatures. Kinetics from introduced. The Coats Redfern method was used determine kinetic parameters, activation (Eact), pre-exponential factor (A) reaction order (n). model nth chemical model. Kinetic parameters determined for three slow heating rates, namely 8, 10 12 °C/min. average values obtained rate experiments were compare experimental data.
