摘要: Typically, a geared drive system is used to connect an induction motor of 1500 rpm with Raymond Pulverizer 105 in mining applications. This suffers from low efficiency and heavy drive. paper proposes novel design 75 kW, 72/48 switched reluctance (SRM) for low-speed direct-drive as The focused on the comparative evaluation proposed machine order replace whilst providing high torque solution. performance studied switching angle configuration also optimised. whole found be 90.19%, whereas provides only 59.32% under similar operating conditions. An SRM prototype was built experimentally tested. Simulation experimental results show that has better substitute option
